Resilient people adapt well to bad things that happen to them in life. They are able to get up and rise up stronger than ever. They are able to handle all kinds of stress, be it at home, in a relationship, a work environment or a health situation.
Here are the seven habits that let those resilient people bounce back up after anything that life throws at them.
Here are the 7 Habits of Highly Resilient People.
1. They have a highly developed sense of self.
Resilient people know who they are and what they want out of life. They know what their mission is and work towards achieving it.
Resilient people are highly conscious of themselves and what makes them tick, but also see the bigger picture and their actions are aimed at making the world a better place for the generations that come after us.
2. They look for a positive take away from every situation.
Every negative situation has something that is positive about it. You can choose whether you want to focus on that positive or not.
When you focus on the positive, you may not be objective, but subjectively your life is less stressful and you feel like it has more meaning. Focus on the positive at all times.
3. They take a long term view and know that anything worthwhile takes time.
We tend to chase the high; and our modern world offers us so many ways to feel those highs in an instant... Ways like like shopping, playing video games or watching our sports team in a match, make it so we start expecting that everything we want out of life can come to us in an instant.
But, anything worthwhile takes time to build. And resilient people are well aware of this.
4. They have a highly developed sense of purpose.
Resilient people know that no one can make it to the finish line unless they know where it is.
**Resilient people have already [found their life purpose](https://www

5. They don't get uncomfortable when they don't have the answers.
Resilient people understand that they will not know the answers at all times.
- Sometimes, they will wander and make mistakes and get knocked off their path.
- Sometimes they will be stuck and not move an inch for a while, not knowing what to do.
And that is perfectly OK. They realize that it is just life giving them another test.
6. They're very selective about the people they go to for guidance.
Many times I've talked about how you are a sum of the people you spend most of your time with. Resilient people are aware of this, and are especially careful when they look for guidance.
When amazing people give you guidance, you have a higher chance of being amazing yourself. An alternative to seeking guidance from others is to take guidance from your spirit guides.
7. They find healthy ways to recharge and nurture themselves.
Resilient people know how to handle stress.
This is not because they can take in more stress than the rest of us, but because they know how to make recharge themselves and when to take a breather.
Do more of what relives you of stress - and you will enjoy life much more.
Everyone has the capacity to be resilient...
