The quick story I want to share with you today is one of the strangest in my life.. and it changed the course of my life.
It's how I actually found and ended up reading Think and Grow Rich, but it felt more like fate, and I didn't find it, it found me!
I was browsing in a second-hand bookshop one day in a small town called Kirkcaldy, in Scotland. I found a book on the third shelf and reached up to get it down. The books were tightly packed together and as I pulled it out, another book came out with it, fell, hit me on the head and dropped to the ground.
A bit embarrassed I bent down to pick the old book up and put it back on the shelf, but the faded yellow and red cover caught my attention. It smelled of mildew, and the edges of the pages were irreparably yellowed, but there was something about it’s title that made me stop.
It was “Think and Grow Rich” by Napoleon Hill.
Skeptical but intrigued, I bought the book and started reading it on the bus ride home, and I was hooked. As soon as I finished it i thought it was too easy a system to actually work, but I gave myself a few weeks to try it out. Sure enough as I put the principles into practice, things started to change; little coincidences started happening, money started coming into my life unexpectedly, and I actually started to feel more confident about myself and knew that things were going to work out. My money mindset was all wrong, my thinking in general was all wrong and Think and Grow Rich has been a constant companion ever since that day, as I now have 3 copies, just in case.
